We have an exciting opportunity for a full time Field Service Engineer to join our growing team! Reporting to the Field Service Engineering Manager, the Field Service Engineer will be home based in Southern California.

What you will do:

• Perform on-site product installations, upgrades and on-going service support and maintenance in assigned territory.
• Utilize proven troubleshooting processes to diagnose and resolve technical issues electro-mechanical aesthetic and robotic aesthetic systems.
• Manage service call scheduling, parts inventory and administrative responsibilities with minimal supervision.
• Mange customer relationship, written documentation of service activities, and effective interaction and communication with internal technical support personnel, manufacturing, and sales.
• Represent the company in a positive, professional manner in all dealings with customers, both external and internal.
• Review available technical literature to maintain an awareness of current aesthetic and surgical practices and procedures.
• Perform other related duties as required and assigned.

What you will need:

• Associate degree with applicable work experience required or Bachelor's degree would be considered an asset.
• 3+ years prior field service experience, installation and troubleshooting complex electronic equipment or equivalent; experience in medical device industry or comparable capital equipment industry preferred.
• Capability to lift a minimum of 50lbs and at times, 80lbs.
• Fluent in English is mandatory; Fluent in Spanish or French would be considered an asset.
• Must have a valid driver s license and your own vehicle.
• Up to 80% travel may be required to meet customer needs.
• Availability and flexibility to work after hours and weekends when needed during peak times.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office specifically Outlook, Word and Excel.
• Must possess basic software skills and computer literacy.
• Must have experience in servicing and maintaining high value capital equipment.
• Ability to read, interpret and analyze schematics, assembly drawings and wiring diagrams.
• Familiarity with robotic instrumentation, automated instrumentation or aesthetic medical systems would be considered an asset.
